Lead free brass
SERTO produces all tube unions in the brass range on request lead-free. The unions are free of residue or lead contamination. They already comply with the strict guidelines for lead migration set for 2013 and are approved by both the SVGW and the DVGW for use in drinking water applications. The basis for this achievement is the material, a special brass containing silicon. In addition, all the individual parts are cleaned to eliminate contamination and deposits which may occur during manufacturing and then they are specially packaged. SERTO unions made of lead-free brass are identified with a cloverleaf logo, die cut on each part and affixed to the packaging.
